GTD for the LDS audience can be a fickle thing. Unlike doing it at work, we normally don’t have access to a computer to capture those things that need to get done. I personally turn to my iphone to assist in those times when I need to capture select items and put them in a system. Indeed, most systems require a digital device to make it happen.

And in my opinion, it’s smart to use digital devices like an iphone, a blackberry, droid, palm pre, etc.

But like all things, it’s important to remember that there is no earthly philosophy to help us to get things done that can compare to the free, unfettered flow of personal revelation.

So, use the devices when needed. I use a lot of paper in addition to my iphone.

But don’t forget to take the time to put those things aside and listen to what you should be accomplishing as well.

The purpose of this blog is to offer hints, suggestions and tips to becoming wiser stewards of our time using the methodology as outlined in David Allen’s groundbreaking book “Getting things Done.” While reading this book is not required for enjoying this blog, it could certainly help.
